Serving and Pairing Suggestions
Okay, so the possibilities are endless, tbh. I love eating these Garlic Herb Grilled Avocados straight off the grill with a spoon; they’re that good. But if you want to take things to the next level, try some of these ideas:
- Serve them as a side with grilled chicken or fish. I’m thinking these would pair amazingly with Grilled Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce.
- Use them as a topping for tacos or bowls. Imagine these on top of Vegan Lentil Tacos. YUM.
- Make a bomb avocado toast. Just mash it up and spread it on some sourdough.
- Serve with Tomatillo salsa,
- Pair with some grilled chicken for a healthy and satisfying meal!
Tips and Notes
- Avocado ripeness: You want your avocados to be ripe but still firm. If they are too soft, they will fall apart on the grill.
- Herb variations: Feel free to experiment with different herbs. I love using a mix of parsley, cilantro, and chives, but you can also use dill, oregano, or thyme.
- Make it vegan: Use vegan butter. Done.
- Grilling tips: Make sure your grill is clean and oiled to prevent sticking. Also, don’t grill the avocados for too long, or they will become mushy.
Okay, that’s it, you guys! Go forth and grill some avocados!
