Equipment

  • Pint glass or large beer mug
  • Small plate (for Tajín seasoning)
  • Citrus juicer (optional, for extracting lime juice)
  • Long spoon or stirrer

Ingredients

  • 1 cold Mexican lager beer - e.g., Modelo, Corona, etc.
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime - about 2 tablespoons
  • 2 dashes of hot sauce - e.g., Tabasco
  • 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash of soy sauce
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Tajín seasoning - for rimming the glass
  • 1 lime wedge - for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the glass: Spread Tajín seasoning on a small plate. Rub the rim of the glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the Tajín to coat thoroughly.
  • Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Add the lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ground black pepper, and sea salt over the ice.
  • Slowly pour the cold beer into the glass, allowing the beer to mix with the other ingredients gently. Leave some space at the top to avoid overflow.
  • Use a long spoon or stirrer to gently mix the drink, ensuring the flavors are well combined.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
