1large - about 1 lb cauliflower head, cut into florets
1/2cupall-purpose flour - or gluten-free flour
1/2teaspoongarlic powder - for flavor
1/2teaspoonpaprika - for extra color and flavor
1/2teaspoonsalt - to taste
1/2cupwater - to create a batter
1/2cuphot sauce - such as Frank's RedHot
2tablespoonsmelted vegan butter - optional, for added richness
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and water. Whisk until smooth.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it's well-coated, then place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is crispy and golden brown.
In a separate bowl, mix the hot sauce and melted vegan butter. Once the cauliflower is done, toss it in this spicy mixture.
Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
