In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sriracha sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
Optional: Add in thinly sliced green onion for some added flavor and texture.
Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Serve with your favorite Asian dishes as a dipping sauce or drizzle over your meal as a sauce.
Notes
For a milder sauce, reduce the amount of sriracha sauce used or omit it altogether.Add in some chopped cilantro for a fresh herby flavor.Use as a marinade for meats before grilling or stir-frying.This sauce can be stored in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container.
