Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 450g Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 2 tablespoons 30ml olive oil (extra virgin recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon 5g salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon 2.5g black pepper (freshly ground, or to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the oven for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are caramelized and tender.
  • Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notes

For a flavor twist, try adding balsamic vinegar or garlic before roasting.
These Brussels sprouts can also be topped with grated Parmesan cheese or crispy bacon bits for an extra layer of flavor.
Make sure to trim the ends and remove any yellow or wilted outer leaves for the best results.
