Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup orange juice - fresh is best
  • 1/2 cup raisins - adds natural sweetness
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce - for depth of flavor
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar - adds tang
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard - for zing
  • 1 tbsp bottled grated orange peel - for additional citrus flavor
  • 2 tbsp Heinz ketchup - adds sweetness and thickness
  • 2 tbsp Heinz chili sauce - for a slight kick

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice, raisins, soy sauce, white vinegar, Dijon mustard, grated orange peel, Heinz ketchup, and Heinz chili sauce.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool to lukewarm.
  • Transfer the mixture to a blender and puree until smooth.
  • Pour the pureed sauce into a bottle and cap it tightly.
  • Refrigerate the sauce. Use within 90 days for the best flavor.

Notes

Store this sauce in the refrigerator for up to 90 days. This versatile sauce can be used as a marinade for meats or as a flavorful dipping sauce. For a spicier kick, consider adding a dash of hot sauce! You can also blend in fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro for a twist.
