  • 4 6 inches pita breads (for a crispier base, use mini pita breads)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce - or tomato sauce, for spreading
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese - or any cheese of your choice
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni - optional, or choose your favorite toppings
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers - optional
  • 1/4 cup black olives - optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano - for added flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven or broiler to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lay the pita breads on a baking sheet.
  • Spread a generous amount of marinara sauce on each pita.
