Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter - creamy or chunky
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce - low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons honey - or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar - or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic - minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil - optional
  • Warm water - to thin the sauce, as needed

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
  • Whisk together until smooth and combined.
  • If the sauce is too thick, gradually add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning or sweetness as needed.
  • Serve as a dip for spring rolls, drizzle over salads, or use as a marinade.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
You can substitute peanut butter with almond butter or cashew butter for a different flavor profile.
This sauce can be stored in the fridge for up to a week. Just stir well before use.
