Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe peaches - pitted and sliced
  • 4-6 fresh basil leaves - plus more for garnish
  • 2 ounces 60ml tequila
  • 1 ounce 30ml triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glasses - optional
  • Lime wedges and peach slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the peaches, basil leaves, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend until smooth.
  • If you prefer a salted or sugared rim, run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and dip the rims into a plate of salt or sugar.
  • Fill the glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the peach-basil margarita mixture over the ice.
