Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup packed fresh mint leaves (makes the chutney aromatic)
  • 1 cup packed fresh coriander leaves (adds freshness and flavor)
  • 1 small onion - chopped, for sweetness and depth
  • 1-2 green chilies - to taste, for heat
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice - for tanginess
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt - to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder - adds earthiness

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If needed, add a little water to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
  • Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For a spicier version, add green chilies according to your taste.
Use fresh mint leaves for the best flavor; dried mint will not yield the same results.
This chutney can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
For variations, consider adding yogurt for a creamier texture or coconut for an added sweetness.
