  • 2 packages - 85g each instant noodles (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter - high-quality for best flavor
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce - low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar - for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar - for tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil - adds depth of flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder - for seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder - for warmth
  • 1/2 cup water - to adjust sauce consistency
  • Chopped green onions - for garnish, optional
  • Crushed peanuts - for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Boil water in a saucepan and cook the instant noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  • Gradually add water to the bowl and whisk until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  • Mix the cooked noodles with the peanut sauce until well coated.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and crushed peanuts if desired.

Notes

For a protein boost, consider adding cooked chicken, tofu, or shrimp.
Vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, or broccoli can complement the dish. Simply sauté them before adding the noodles.
If you prefer spice, add some chili flakes or sriracha to the peanut sauce.
