Instructions
Preheat the grill to high heat.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, miso paste, minced garlic, and truffle oil until well combined.
Season the strip steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Brush the miso-truffle butter mixture onto both sides of the steaks.
Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired level of doneness.
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes on a plate covered with aluminum foil.
Garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For an extra indulgent flavor, you can add a few slices of truffle on top of the steaks before grilling.This miso-truffle butter can also be used as a topping for grilled vegetables or roasted potatoes.If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the steaks in a cast iron skillet on high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.For a spicier kick, you can add a dash of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the miso-truffle butter mixture.This recipe can also be made with ribeye or sirloin steaks instead of strip steaks.
