  • 4 strip steaks - 1 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste

  • 1 tablespoon truffle oil
  • Salt and pepper

  • Garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent flavor, you can add a few slices of truffle on top of the steaks before grilling.
This miso-truffle butter can also be used as a topping for grilled vegetables or roasted potatoes.
If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the steaks in a cast iron skillet on high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
For a spicier kick, you can add a dash of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the miso-truffle butter mixture.
This recipe can also be made with ribeye or sirloin steaks instead of strip steaks.
