Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups almond flour - finely ground almonds
  • 1 cup powdered sugar - for sweetness and texture
  • 1 large egg - binds the mixture
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water - adds flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder - for slight rise
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt - to enhance flavors
  • Additional powdered sugar for dusting - optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the egg and orange blossom water to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough, form into balls, and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Flatten each ball slightly and dust with additional powdered sugar if desired.
  • Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Variations: You can add chocolate chips or different flavored extracts such as vanilla or lemon for a unique twist.
Tips: Ensure all your ingredients are certified gluten-free to avoid cross-contamination. For a richer flavor, lightly toast the almond flour before mixing.
