Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound flank steak - sliced thin against the grain
  • 4 cups broccoli florets - fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce - for a gluten-free option
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch - for thickening
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - for cooking
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar - adds depth of flavor
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil - for finish
  • 1 teaspoon sugar - optional, for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup beef broth - low-sodium recommended

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix together gluten-free soy sauce, cornstarch, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add broccoli to the wok, stir-fry with beef for another 2-3 minutes until they are tender.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Add beef broth and stir well, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve immediately over steamed rice or quinoa. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

This dish is versatile; you can swap out broccoli for other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
For extra flavor, marinate the beef for 30 minutes before cooking.
