Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce - low sodium recommended
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger - grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon green onions - chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey - optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, water, grated ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and honey (if using).
  • Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if needed, adding more ginger or honey to your preference.
  • If using, stir in the chopped green onions.
  • Pour the sauce into a jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

For a sweeter sauce, consider adding honey or brown sugar.
If you prefer a spicier sauce, you can add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
