3inchpiece of fresh ginger - peeled and thinly sliced
1/2cupfresh mint leaves - plus extra for garnish
1/4cuphoney
Lemon slices for garnish - optional
Instructions
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Once boiling, remove from heat and add 6 bags of black tea, ginger, and 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves. Let steep for 5 minutes.
Using a strainer, strain tea into a large pitcher. Discard the tea bags and ginger slices.
Stir in honey until completely dissolved.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until chilled.
Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices, if desired.
