Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup 113g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 cloves 12g garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon 15ml lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1g salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1g black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons 8g fresh parsley (chopped, optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
  • Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Remove from heat, and if desired, stir in fresh chopped parsley.
  • Serve warm over pasta, seafood, or vegetables.

Notes

For a little heat, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes.
This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat on low before using.
Feel free to add fresh herbs like parsley or basil for extra flavor.
