1loaf - about 12 slices of brioche or challah bread (cut into cubes)
6large eggs - beaten
2cupswhole milk - or milk of choice
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
2teaspoonsground cinnamon
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/4cupmaple syrup - for serving
Fresh fruit - for serving, optional
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Add the cubed bread to the mixing bowl and gently stir until all the bread is soaked in the egg mixture.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
