Ingredients
  

  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped - preferably 70% cocoa
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease the ramekins.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a mixing bowl over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • Stir in the flour and confectioners' sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  • Carefully invert the cakes onto plates and serve warm.
