Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour - for the dumpling skin
  • 1/2 cup water - adjust for dough consistency
  • 1 cup ground pork - for filling
  • 1/2 cup shrimp - chopped (for filling)
  • 2 green onions - finely chopped (for filling)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce - for filling
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil - for filling
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger - for filling
  • Salt - to taste (for seasoning)
  • Pepper - to taste (for seasoning)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and water to form a smooth dough. Knead for about 5 minutes and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • In another bowl, mix ground pork, shrimp, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, salt, and pepper to make the filling.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into small circles to form the dumpling skin.
  • Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling skin, fold and seal the edges tightly.
  • Arrange the dumplings in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper. Steam over boiling water for about 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For the perfect Dim Sum, ensure your ingredients are fresh. You can mix and match fillings based on your preference.
Variations: Try shrimp, pork, or vegetarian fillings. Experiment with sauces such as soy sauce or chili oil.
Tips: Steaming is essential. Consider using a bamboo steamer for an authentic touch. If you don’t have one, a metal steamer works too!
