  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes - optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired creaminess.
  • Add the lime juice, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Mix everything well until combined and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

For a spicier version, add minced jalapeño or red pepper flakes. You can also mix in some finely chopped red onion or garlic for extra flavor.
Store any leftover spread in an airtight container, pressing a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface to prevent browning.
