  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon - for flavor

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, combine the chopped apples, onions, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Add the spices - cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and salt.
  • Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Pour the hot chutney into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
  • Let it cool down before storing in the pantry.
