Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Tongs
  • 1 Meat thermometer (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings - cut into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil - for coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder - for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon paprika - for color and flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper - optional, for heat

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
  • Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
  • Cook the wings for 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
  • Check the internal temperature of the wings with a meat thermometer; they should reach at least 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For the best results, pat the wings dry with paper towels before seasoning to ensure maximum crispiness.
For flavor variations, consider adding garlic powder, smoked paprika, or your favorite hot sauce to the seasoning mix.
To make a sauce, toss the cooked wings in buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, or honey garlic sauce before serving.
