Tips and Notes

  • Coffee: Use high-quality coffee beans for the best flavor. Brew your coffee strong to ensure the liqueur has a rich, robust taste.
  • Spirits: Choose vodka or rum as the base for your liqueur. Vodka provides a neutral flavor, while rum adds a hint of sweetness and depth.
  • Sweetness: Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference. Use granulated sugar, brown sugar, or even flavored syrups for a unique twist.
  • Infusion Time: Allow the mixture to steep for at least 1-2 weeks for the flavors to meld beautifully. The longer you let it sit, the richer the flavor becomes.
  • Storage: Store your Homemade Coffee Liqueur in a sealed bottle in the refrigerator for up to 1 year. Shake well before serving to ensure the ingredients are well mixed.

Enjoy the rich and flavorful experience of Homemade Coffee Liqueur as a delightful addition to your beverage collection!

For a stronger coffee flavor, use more coffee beans and let the mixture sit for longer.

If you prefer a sweeter liqueur, you can increase the amount of sugar to 1 1/2 cups.
To make a vegan version, substitute the honey with 1 cup of maple syrup or agave nectar.
