Tips and Notes
- Coffee: Use high-quality coffee beans for the best flavor. Brew your coffee strong to ensure the liqueur has a rich, robust taste.
- Spirits: Choose vodka or rum as the base for your liqueur. Vodka provides a neutral flavor, while rum adds a hint of sweetness and depth.
- Sweetness: Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference. Use granulated sugar, brown sugar, or even flavored syrups for a unique twist.
- Infusion Time: Allow the mixture to steep for at least 1-2 weeks for the flavors to meld beautifully. The longer you let it sit, the richer the flavor becomes.
- Storage: Store your Homemade Coffee Liqueur in a sealed bottle in the refrigerator for up to 1 year. Shake well before serving to ensure the ingredients are well mixed.
