- Medium pot
- Large pitcher
- Strainer
- Measuring cups
- Wooden spoon
- Ice cube tray
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 6 bags of black tea
- 3 inch piece of fresh ginger - peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves - plus extra for garnish
- 1/4 cup honey
- Lemon slices for garnish - optional
Instructions
- In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add 6 bags of black tea, ginger, and 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Using a strainer, strain tea into a large pitcher. Discard the tea bags and ginger slices.
- Stir in honey until completely dissolved.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until chilled.
