Serve Balsamic-Glazed Grilled Sweet Onions warm, drizzled with extra balsamic glaze for a beautiful presentation. They pair wonderfully with grilled meats, such as Grilled Chicken Tandoori or Ribeye Steak, and can also enhance salads or grain bowls for added flavor.

For a complete meal, enjoy them alongside Garlic Mashed Potatoes or Mediterranean Quinoa Salad.

Tips and Notes

  • Onions: Choose sweet onions like Vidalia or Walla Walla for their natural sweetness. Cut them into thick slices to prevent them from falling apart on the grill.
  • Balsamic Glaze: Use store-bought balsamic glaze for convenience or make your own by simmering balsamic vinegar until it thickens. Adjust the sweetness by adding a bit of honey or brown sugar.
  • Grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Brush the onion slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper before grilling for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are tender and caramelized.
  • Storage: Store any leftover grilled onions in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them gently before serving, either on the grill or in the microwave.

Enjoy the sweet and tangy flavors of Balsamic-Glazed Grilled Sweet Onions as a delicious addition to your meal!
