Balsamic-Glazed Grilled Sweet Onions
These delicious balsamic-glazed grilled sweet onions are the perfect side dish for any summer barbecue. The tangy balsamic glaze pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the onions, creating a mouthwatering flavor sensation.

- Small saucepan

Ingredients
- 4 large sweet onions
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped herbs optional, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Peel and cut the onions into thick slices, about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a small saucepan, mix together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat until the sauce begins to thicken, about 5 minutes.
- Brush the onion slices with the balsamic glaze on both sides.
- Place the onion slices on the preheated grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until lightly charred.

Notes
