Korean BBQ Meatballs

korean bbq meatballs

Korean BBQ Meatballs are a savory and flavorful dish perfect for appetizers or main courses. The sweet and spicy Korean BBQ sauce gives these meatballs a unique and delicious twist.

Begin by mixing ground beef or pork with breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ginger, green onions, and an egg. Add a splash of soy sauce for extra flavor. Form the mixture into small, bite-sized meatballs.

Bake or pan-fry the meatballs until they are cooked through and nicely browned. Meanwhile, prepare the Korean BBQ sauce by combining soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and a bit of gochujang (Korean chili paste).

Simmer the sauce until it thickens slightly. Toss the cooked meatballs in the sauce until they are well coated. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.

Serve these Korean BBQ meatballs with steamed rice or lettuce wraps. They also pair well with a side of kimchi or pickled vegetables. These meatballs are great for parties, game days, or a fun family dinner. Enjoy the bold, rich flavors and the slight kick from the gochujang.
